I have just completed playing dead space 2 which was a great game and have just come across the news that dead space 3 is lined up for the release.The game is set to release approximately around the same time Crysis 3 is due.
The Plot & My expectations:
Dead Space 3 is an upcoming horror survival video game which is developed by Visceral Games and was announced on June 4, 2012.It is the third installment in the dead space series and is a sequel to dead space 2.Set in a frozen planet named Tau Volantis, this will follow Isaac Clarke and Sergeant John Carver while they attempt to stop Necromorph scourge for good.
When i started to play dead space 2 i didn't enjoy it much but as it progressed i couldn't keep off it.Electronic Arts is one of the most reputed game developers who have produced legendary games like Crysis and dead space.
I have huge expectations from dead space 3.Hopefully it will end up living to its reputation.i will definitely end up being yelled at for not getting up from my Xbox lol.
I am planning to get this game for my Xbox this time as i have played dead space 1 and 2 on my computer but have not tried it on the console yet would love to see how the game looks on the Xbox.I have heard a few gamers around the world who state that console gaming is not as good when compared to pc gaming especially in shooter games as the aiming works much better with the mouse and keyboard interface rather than a joystick.
The other reason i would get this game for Xbox is because when you play the game on a pc you need to set the resolution Vsync,anisotrophic filtering shadows etc based on your graphics card but a part of eye candy might still miss while compared to a console,whereas on Xbox you can just insert the DVD and not worry about the looks as it will always look good.February is far away but i am sure none of the gamers can wait for this as this will be the best valentines day for all the gamers around the world who love dead space series.
