American Idol 03/04/2013 - Season 12 - Review and analysis
The reality game show,singing competition American Idol that aired on 03/04/2013 saw the Season's top 7 getting set as it was Rock week.The interesting thing though was that none of these singers were actually Rock singers.
The night saw the top 7 sing songs by Queen,Billy Joel and heart.The singers tried their best to cope up with a genre they didn't specialize in.However there were still a few performances which were out of the ordinary.Check out my Review below of what exactly went down at the American Idol Season 12 episode that aired on 03/04/2013

Review of Solo Songs sung at American Idol 03/04/2013
- You Give love a bad name saw Burnell Taylor give it his best but by the looks of it he does not seem to be a hardcore rock singer,but hats off to his effort.Its really great to see singers perform even as good as this especially if they don't specialize in a particular type of music genre.
- Piece of my heart performed by Kree Harrison was one of the best performances of the night for me.She didn't look to be out of shape at any moment during the song,In fact she added a bit more spice to an already super hit song.
- You may be Right performed by Janelle Arthur was not that bad not that good,it was a bit of both actually.She has a great voice but looks like the choice of her song let her down.
- We are the champions performed by Lazaro Arbos didn't impress much at all.This performance clearly looked that Lazaro is not a rock singer.
- I can't get no satisfaction performed by Candice Glover was not that bad but looked a little too stale as the song seem to the usual without anything extra added.
- What about Love performed by Amber Holcomb was one of the best performances of the night.She was not comfortable throughout the song but fought her way through to end up getting a standing ovation.
- Bring me to Live performed by Angie Miller was again a good performance but nothing out of the ordinary.
Review of Duet/Trio Songs sung at American Idol 03/04/2013
- Crazy Little Thing called love performed by Angie and Lazaro Saw Angie totally dominate the song leaving Lazaro a little behind.
- The Letter performed by Candice and Burnell Saw Burnell performing a lot better than he did solo.
- Its Still Rock 'n' Roll to me performed by Amber,Janelle and Kree was an OK performance with Kree leading from the front.

A few notes from the review of American Idol 03/04/2013
- As the week goes by it will be interesting to see how Kree and Amber perform next week.
- The Show this week didn't live up to its rock theme as most of the artists specialize in their particular music genre.
- It will be interesting to see who falls back and who remains in the upcoming episodes as until now all seems to be even.
