Sleeping Dogs Full Review

Sleeping Dogs Cover art official

Sleeping Dogs is a breath of fresh air in open world games. When i got this game i thought this will be something very similar to Grand Theft Auto but to my surprise that wasn't the case infact for me it was even better. What made this game good was a perfect balance of Fighting,Story and mini games. This game is the best one to play for the gamers who love open world games until we await the arrival of Grand Theft Auto V.The way the game ended was good and gave a feel good feeling towards completion. The flexibility the game offered was one of the best features of the game as you could do almost anything in the game such as Bike or car race,Sing Karaoke, fight and you can even ride a boat.

The game has also done well in the market because of which there are very bright chances of this game becoming a franchise and a release of Sleeping Dogs II in the near future is a possibility.Below are the positives and negatives of the game.

Positives:

  • Beautiful Surroundings with great graphics
  • A feel good Storyline
  • Some really unique and cool Mini games like Karaoke,Bike and car race.
  • Great in car/bike songs while driving/riding
  • Flexible with lots to do within a game.

Negatives:

  • Occasional Graphics lags
  • Sometimes missions felt incomplete and very short.
  • A few missions looked repetitive

Considering all of the above this is the best open world games i have played recently and i would love to give it 10/10 for the open world genre but considering the other games i have played this game deserves no less than 9/10.It is a definite must play game.

Dishonored Full Review

Dishonored Cover

When i started playing Dishonored i had very few expectations from it.Looking at the cover i felt this might end up being a game similar to Call of Cthulhu" which  was a great game during its time.

Positives:
  • Storyline
  • Magic
  • Playing in Stealth Mode

Negatives:
  • Graphics had glitches
  • Missions looked repetitive
  • The game looked very hard sometimes even in easy mode

Even though there were a few glitches this game deserves the good reviews it has been getting. The beauty of the game for me was the magic you could do like possessing animals or human beings and going through a large number of enemies. If you have not played this yet i would highly recommend you to check it out.I would rate this game 9.5/10 despite the glitches because that's how good it gets!

Battlefield 3 Full Review

Battlefield 3 Box Cover

I just finished playing Battlefield 3 today so here is my review about the game. There were quite a few interesting moments in the game as well as few places within Battlefield 3 that i feel could have been so much better.Let me start with the positive and the negative aspects of the game.

Positive:
  • Good Graphics
  • Brilliant Gameplay
  • Great Missions.
Negative:
  • Very Short Missions.
  • There was a constant stuttering sound through my speakers(This might be a problem at my end but i have seen a few videos uploaded by others with the same problem on YouTube)
  • Missions looked a bit too easy at times
  • More combat and Melee(Without Weapons) would have made the game much better.

No wonder this game has already been declared a superhit by the gamers who have played it.It deserves every bit of it.However sometimes you like short games sometimes you don't.This was one of those short games which was great which ended with me wanting for more.On an average i don't think any mission in the game  would take more than an hour to complete if you play the game continuously.I don't regret playing this game on PC rather than Xbox as first person shooters are always much better to be played on PC due to aiming problems through the Xbox Joystick. There were times during a few missions where you get a hint on the screen to press a few keys in a sequence to make a kill. This looked a bit silly but was quite entertaining at times. All in all for a first person shooter fan you should not miss out on this game.I would rate this 8 out of 10.

The Amazing Spiderman Full Review

The Amazing Spiderman was not a very bad game but somehow im sure anyone who has played it on PC would think this game could have been much better.I was able to complete the game pretty quickly.Below is my full review of the game.

Positives:
  • Entertaining Boss Fights
  • Gwen and Felecia Hardy
Negatives:

  • Low Framerates in the pc version(Especially for players with ATI Card)
  • Graphics
  • Spideys sense of Humor needs to improve
  • Very short Storyline
  • A few scenarios looked repetitive
  • Porting from console to pc not perfect

The biggest minus point about this game was the graphics the reason is  no matter how costly and highfi graphics card you have you might end up seeing constant lags on the system.Just because of these lags the game looses its charm in the PC version. The game apparently has done very well in the console version. If this didn't lag this much the this game had huge potential  and i think more people would have loved it.
I would rate this game a 6.5/10 just for entertainment the score would have been higher if the it was ported better. If you are planning to play this i would recommend you to play this on a console and avoid the PC version of it!

Darksiders II Full Review

As i have completed playing Darksiders II. here is my full review on the game and what you can expect out of the game.

Positives:

  • Brilliant Graphics
  • Mind boggling puzzles
  • Voice Acting
  • Boss Fights
  • Nice and long Storyline
A picture of one of the amazing Boss Fights against Avatar of Chaos!

Negatives:

  • Death's Companion Dust "the Crow" is not very helpful
  • Puzzles at times got repetitive
  • Playing on a pc was sometimes a task especially in boss fights
  • I felt the game just had a bit of an abrupt ending probably because of the plans of Darksiders III
A picture of death with Dust the "Crow"

When i started playing Darksiders II it had been a long time since i played a PC Game.I had totally turned into a hardcore console gamer.Initially i was playing this game with The Amazing Spiderman (A bad idea) probably that might be the reason why i didnt like this game much initially but i realised soon enough this is not a kind of a game you can play alongside other games. You need to devote your full gaming time to Darksiders II to truly enjoy it and you will not regret a single moment of it.It definitely lived up to the hype of Darksiders 1.The one thing that i really had problems with in the game was Dust the crow.Apparently this crow is supposed to guide you  when you are lost but instead of doing that it got confused flying here and there and ending up confusing you even more.As i said in the positive section that the puzzles and the voice acting was brilliant and there were also a lot of boss fights  to enjoy. The Storyline was a bit long and at times and i asked myself when will i finish the game but i eventually managed to finish it and it took a total of approximately 27 hours of playing the game to complete it and just to let you know i didn't play this at one stretch.I didn't get a chance of playing this on an xbox  but i have a very strong feeling that the true gaming capabilities, graphics and everything else for Darksiders II will be even more exciting if you play this on a console. To sum up the above this is a great game and will give you loads of enjoyments and thrills including plenty of boss fights,Upgrades and a lot more.I would rate this game a 9.5/10 according to me as i really enjoyed it!

So this is how long it exactly took for me to complete the game

With great power comes very low framerates!!!!

Ok,So i got this game for my pc yesterday you can check out the gaming moments(Pictures and videos) of the day for yesterday here .Now as i said in  my post yesterday this game looks very poorly ported and the framerates are very laggy.Especially when you webswing across the streets the framerates go as low as 8 FPS.can you imagine 8FPS for a framerate??really bad..
.Im going to continue to play this game until i finish it hopefully i will be able to keep my patience till then...For the laggy framerates  i have now tried everything getting my resolution to medium, low vsync off nothing seems to be working...Guess i will have to do some digging around through google to try and get some answers from activision as to what i can do to get this to atleast a decent state.I mean if you check my system its not that bad i have an

  • Intel Core 2 Duo E6750(2.66 GHZ)
  • ATI Radeon 6670 1GB DDR5 graphics Card(I was planning to get a ddr3 gb graphics card but i realised 1gb ddr5 is much faster which was quiet confusing but after extensive research on the internet i got the answers as to why ddr5 is faster.you can check that out here )
  • 1.7 TB Hard Disk Drive
  • 4GB DDR3 Ram

and the best part is with the above configuration i can play darksiders II on high but not the amazing spiderman!

Im regretting already that i didnt get this on xbox i had a feeling this might be a mistake well i have learnt my lesson!!!.For those who are not aware
The Amazing Spider-Man is a third-person open world action/adventure video game, a tie-in to the film of the same name featuring the Marvel Comics superhero, Spider-Man. It was developed by Beenox, developer of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man: Edge of Time, and published by Activision. It was released June 26, 2012 in North America and June 29, 2012 in Europe on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, Android, and iOS, and PC. The game was written and scripted by Seamus Kevin Fahey, of Battlestar Galactica fame, and serves as an epilogue to The Amazing Spider-Man film. The Nintendo 3DS and Wii features a different, more linear game with the same script and plot. The game is not Open World, instead following a style of approach similar to that of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, where the player selects a level from a Hub, in this case Peter's apartment, before playing a mostly linear level. It was natively designed for the 3DS, and later ported to the Wii. Beenox also developed this version.

I really hope Activison releases a patch soon to get this sorted out orelse we will end up loosing faith in activison..Do check out the interesting stuff column on the left hand side for more intersting stuff to keep you entertained i will be back with the gaming moments of the day towards the end of the day hopefully as the time goes by the framerates for spiderman will improve and i will have a better experience.

Adios!!!

Its Halo Reach time !!!!!

Its Sunday evening and whats the best way to end the week????Yes you got it right by playing halo. Most of the people say this is one of the worst halo games ever i beg to differ, all Halo and crysis games are automatically legendary.I played this a bit and stopped playing as i got busy but when i started playing this once again i was like woooah buying Xbox was my best decision ever!!!The game play, graphics everything about this game are sooo awesome,it brings back faith in all the guys who own an xbox, the voice acting in halo series has always been great and this one is no different while playing this i was wondering how great it is the way halo games have evolved graphically, how things change in a span of just a few years, halo 1 looks so pixelated compared to this game which is funny considering how much business that game did and how the gamerz enjoyed it!!!.Im happy in a way for playing this game late after the release because of two reasons

  • Since im playing it now since im free i would be immersed and enjoy it more.
  • Playing this now and finishing it will take sometime by which halo 4 will come out :)
For those who havent heard much about halo reach this is  is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360 console. Reach was released in North America, Australia, and Europe on September 14, 2010. The game takes place in the year 2552, where humanity is locked in a war with the alien Covenant. Players control Noble Six, a member of an elite supersoldier squad, when the human world known as Reach falls under Covenant attack. After developing Halo 3 in 2007, Bungie split into teams to develop two different games—what would become Halo 3: ODST and Reach. The developers decided to create a prequel to the original Halo game trilogy, freeing themselves from the obligation of addressing old story threads. As the game would take place on a human world doomed to be destroyed, they focused on making the environment a character unto itself. Longtime Halo composers Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori returned to compose Reach's music, aiming for a more somber sound to match the story.Reach was announced to the world at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009 in Los Angeles, California, with the first in-engine trailer shown at the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards. Players who purchased Halo 3: ODST were eligible to participate in a Reach multiplayer beta in May 2010; the beta allowed Bungie to gain player feedback for fixing bugs and making gameplay tweaks before shipping the final version. Microsoft gave Reach its biggest game marketing budget yet, and created award-winning live-action commercials, action figures, and interactive media to promote the game.Halo: Reach grossed US$200 million on its launch day, setting a new record for the franchise. The game sold well in most territories, moving more than three million units its first month in North America. Critical reception was positive; reviewers from publications such as IGN, GamePro, and Official Xbox Magazine called it the best Halo title yet. Critics generally praised the game's graphics and sound; the plot and characters were less positively received. Reach was Bungie's final Halo game, with future games overseen by the Microsoft subsidiary 343 Industries.I know i know, almost every post i speak something or definitely mention halo 4 but what do i do???thats how awesome that game will end up being im very sure about it.I kind of hope that microsoft starts halo for pc as well but they should release halo 3 and then halo 4 they would definitely market their product to a greater audience then..Looking at how it is now it might just happen but again we will have to wait to see which is very tough for me to do considering the amount of patience i have :(.

Hard Reset has totally reset my brain !!!!

Playing hard reset has really been a tough experience, looking at the game robots coming from here and there and the logic of the shootout does not quiet sumup for me for some reason i felt this game has potential but for some reason i did not like it that much, yes it is fun to kill the robots by electrocuting them but not all the time.for those who dont know Hard Reset is a first-person shooter exclusively for Microsoft Windows, from Flying Wild Hog, a Polish developer that is made up from members of the team behind Painkiller (People Can Fly), and former developers from CD Projekt Red and City Interactive. The game features a cyberpunk plot. It draws inspiration from the works of William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Philip K. Dick (especially Blade Runner). The game received an expanded re-release, called Hard Reset: Extended Edition.I shomehow didnt like the idea of killing robots and i personally felt this game had a pretty weak or no storyline,in the beginning this felt like it would end up giving a max payne affect but failed, when you consider getting bored by a game and going to the end its horribly painful to see the end be so abrupt.

The only think i liked about this game was Hidden items and EX mode which was quiet entertaining. The graphics of the game too didnt impress me much i ran this game on an ati based 6670 DDR5 graphics card it ran flawlessly but didnt impress on the looks much,So as to say it was nothing compared to the graphics of crysis,i know im not supposed to compare any game to crysis but still,Crysis has set such a huge expectation in the gaming industry that this has raised the bar for the developers and the expectations of the gamerz,Coming back to hard reset i finally managed to finish it torchouring myself and im about to play darksiders II next which i have heard pretty good reviews about i hope my computer can handle the graphics of darksiders II,I due to a few reasons could not get a console version of this game as i said earlier but didnt want to let the game go so i got the pc version anyways hope i dont end up regretting my choice !!!!

Sleeping dogs hit or not??

At a time where all the gamerz are waiting for games such as Crysis 3,Assassin's Creed 3,Dead Space 3,The amazing spiderman,Darksiders 2,Halo 4 the sleeping dogs quietly is making its presence known among the gamerz, for those who dont know Sleeping Dogs is an open world crime drama video game, developed by United Front Games in conjunction with Square Enix London Studios and published by Square Enix (Namco Bandai Games for Australia), released on August 14, 2012 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.Sleeping Dogs takes place in Hong Kong and focuses on an undercover operation to infiltrate the Triads. The game was originally in development as an original IP, but was announced in 2009 as True Crime: Hong Kong, the third installment and a reboot of the True Crime series. As a result of the game’s high development budget and delays, it was canceled by Activision in 2011. Six months later, it was announced that Square Enix had picked up the publishing rights to the game, but the game was reannounced as Sleeping Dogs in 2012 as Square Enix did not purchase the True Crime name rights. This game kind of reminds me of the game 25 to life, its not that i have huge expectations from the game but the trailer does not look that bad.The game is set to release on August 14, 2012,August 16, 2012,August 17, 2012,September 27, 2012 on Microsoft Windows,PlayStation 3,Xbox 360,OnLive respectively...Below is the trailer of the game from youtube.

looks pretty flashy..to be honest im going to give this one a pass during this gaming season !!!

Console Gaming or PC gaming Your pick??

We have been hearing about console gaming since we were little kids do you remember the gaming consoles like Atari, sega and a few others where your thumbs used to become numb while playing, this have evolved since then we are in an era on the XBOX 360s,playstations,WII and these too are soon becoming old.Let me tell you what my Pick is about console gaming  and PC gaming and what are the pro's and cons of it.Firstly let me give you a brief idea about me,i personally own an xbox 360 an idea of buying a PS3 is in the pipeline dont know when it will work out and i own a nice gaming computer people would consider avergage but im pretty happy with its configuration below is the computer configuration i own

Processor:Intel Core 2 Duo E6750
RAM:Transcend DDR3-1333 DDR3 4 GB
Motherboard:Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2 Motherboard
Graphics Card:HIS AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6670 1 GB GDDR5
HDD:1.7 TB

So,thats my system,Let me start of by saying what are the Cons of playing games on a computer

Cons of Computer Gaming
  1. You can never get the eye candy you want from a game on a computer until you really have a very high end computer with a very good internal cooler for the processor
  2. Every game has a different design, engine and when a game has 6 or 7 keys assigned to play it you kind of end up messing about and frustrated
  3. It is harmful for the eyes at times because you end up being very close to the monitor
  4. It can get very stale after sometime, and can cause anxiety irritation syndrome
  5. Imagine a day you come back from work and are tired and want to lay around and play but since you have a computer you end up getting bugged lazy to switch it on and play !

Pros of computer gaming
  1. It is the best to keep you up rather than lazing around and playing on you console.
  2. Shooter games have known to perform well under computer gaming as it helps you aim precisely through the keyboard and mouse.
  3. You tend to be a little more active then playing on your console

Cons of Console Gaming:

  1. You only end up lazing around and playing which is not too good for health.
  2. Your thumbs sometime ends up getting numb due to excessive gaming.
  3. You cannot play shooter game presicesly especially the aiming bit

Pros Of console Gaming

  1. You will get exceptional framerates and eye  dandy.
  2. You can play it from the comfort of your couch/bed
  3. Since your TV will be at a distance it reduces the risk of eye problems.
  4. No matter how many moves the game has more number of keys help deal with it in a easier way
  5. Multiplayer gaming is much more fun and it has more exclusive titles

I know i might have contradicted my statements in a few but this is just my point of view...Hope you guys liked reading it,add anything in the comments section below it you feel i left out !

Bioshock Infinite is coming soon !!!!

Do you remember going around Rapture, hacking machines,Abducting big daddy, and shooting everything you see.Well good news is on the cards for Bioshock fans as theBioShock Infinite is an upcoming survival horror first-person shooter video game and the third game in the BioShock series. Previously known as "Project Icarus", it is being developed by Irrational Games for a worldwide release on February 26, 2013 release on the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, and later on the Wii U. BioShock Infinite is not a direct sequel or prequel to previous BioShock games, taking place in an earlier period and different setting, though it features similar gameplay concepts and themes.Building on the ideas of American Exceptionalism in the early 20th century, the game's protagonist, former Pinkerton agent, Booker DeWitt, is sent in 1912 to the floating air-city of Columbia to seek out a young woman, Elizabeth, who has been held captive there for the last twelve years. Though Booker rescues Elizabeth easily, the two are pursued by warring factions on the collapsing city: the Founders that strive to keep the city for pure American citizens, and the Vox Populi, a hodgepodge group of several smaller factions trying to seize control from the Founders. Booker finds Elizabeth to be central to this conflict, and that she also holds strange powers to manipulate rifts in the time-space continuum that ravage Columbia. Ken Levine, the lead designer for the game, took inspiration for the story and setting from both historical pieces at the turn of the 19th century, as well as more recent events including the "Occupy" protests. Levine took an unorthodox approach with the voice actors for Booker and Elizabeth, Troy Baker and Courtnee Draper, respectively, by developing the script and details of the story alongside them during their voice work, allowing them to help define the characters and deliver more convincing performances within the game. The player controls Booker throughout the game, eventually teaming with the computer-controlled Elizabeth. Like previous BioShock games, the player uses a combination of weapons, psychokinetic powers granted through "vigors" and "nostrums", and Elizabeth's own powers to fight off hostile foes and make their way through Columbia. In contrast to the limited spaces of the underwater city of Rapture, the open-air city of Columbia provides for more combat challenges, including combat that takes place aboard the city's Skyline rollercoaster-like rail system. The game will also feature a "1999 Mode", harkening back to games like System Shock 2 where decisions made by the player will have a more permanent impact on the game, possibly leading the player to an unwinnable situation and requiring a restart from an earlier saved game.BioShock Infinite has received early pre-release attention, winning several awards including the "Best of Show" at the 2011 E3 show.Even though this game is set to release on February 26th these days the release dates of the games are nto predictible as a lot goes into making games and the developers make ever inch of method possible to make sure the game works out well.Lets take a look into the system requirements of this game

All Set for Resident Evil 6

Capcom's Resident Evil 6 Front Box cover
One of the best Horror Survival games comes back for its 6th installment and whats more we have Leon coming back to this series.Well,I have huge expectations from this game i loved both resident evil 4 as well as resident evil 5,Resident Evil 4 was great to be played in Playstation 2,But it was pathetic in its PC form.Well, the plot of this game is that "In the year 2013, U.S. President Adam Benford has decided to officially reveal the truth behind the 1998 Raccoon City Destruction Incident, believing that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity.Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy and his new partner Helena Harper; but when the venue becomes host to another bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face the infected and mutated President, making the hardest decision in his life. Meanwhile in the Eastern European state of Edonia, mercenary Jake Muller, the son of late bio-terrorist Albert Wesker, flees from the authorities during a bioterrorist attack. During Jake's adventure, he partners up with government agent and Raccoon City survivor Sherry Birkin. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) Captain Chris Redfield and his team, including Piers Nivans, arrive in the fictional Chinese city of Lanshiang (based on Hong Kong), itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world’s
population is united by a common fear: there may be no hope left. The game is set to release date for this game is set for October 2, 2012 which is hardly a couple of months away, hope the system requirements are not too deep on my pocket!!!!.This one i dont think Resident Evil fans should miss,What are your expectations from this one???

Alan Wake Full Review

Alan Wake Cover artI had to work very hard to get an Xbox 360,With it i got Alan Wake and Forza Motorsport free.Let me tell you Alan Wake is one of the best games i have ever played in my life and i totally mean it.The game atmosphere surrounding, storyline are really really good,The lighting effects the voice acting are really well done,I have already placed this game twice and i dont mind playing it once again. This game ended up being so popular that there was a demand for it from the PC side as well and the game is now also available for PC.Does this make me regret getting an xbox 360 No ways!!!!..The Game would perform much better on an xbox 360 anyday im very sure of it.When you consider games like Resident Evil 4 which were very poorly ported i have lost faith in the games working well when ported to a pc version especially when they were exclusively made for an XBOX 360.Getting to the positives and the negatives of the game

Positives:
  1. It has a great intense atmosphere which makes you feel apart of the game.
  2. Solid Graphics on the game gets you going.
  3. Great voice acting by all the characters leads to a lot of fun.
Negatives:

This is going to be tough considering this is one of the best games i have played now let me think what was the worst thing about the game.Let me try listing these for you below
  1. I feel we had less of boss fights in the game
  2. The game ended on an incomplete note and i had to pay a bit extra through xbox live to get the addons to get the game completed.
The other thing about this game is Light.Light plays a very important role in killing the enemies,it gives a great feeling to see the enemies turned into ash after you put a bullet through.Dodge sequence was very impressive as it was very accurate.Just writing this post makes me so tempted to play this great game and trust me if you play it you will feel the same way !!!

  1. The Lighting in this game at times causes a headache
  2. Shooting does not look that thrilling
Now,getting into the game in detail this game i would say is good but lost all its potentital because of the lighting affects. It really caused me a headache at times because of the fancy lighting. This game brings three innovative modes called as sucide, backfire and persuade. When i say about these modes it means you can literally hack into the brains of the enemy's and make them either sucide(Kill themselves and explode along with a few of them around them),backfire(The gun of the enemy backfires and helps them get out of the cover if they are in one) and persuade(this makes them fight for you and in the end they kill themselves) looks pretty cool does'nt it?You also have something known as Dart overlay which helps you kind which enemy's are behind the covers and slows down the time when they try killing you,If regenerates by itself but its good to use it wisely. So all and all Syndicate is a good game i would not say great at the same time i would recommend you guys to check this out once if you can no pressure though. The reason i ask you to check it out even though i dont find this game great is because of the difference this game has compared to a few other first person shooters.

Need for speed:The Run not bad at all

Need for Speed The Run Box Cover art
Let me start of by being honest here.I am not a fan of racing games at all. However something made me play need for speed the run and as i played it i loved it and ended up finishing the whole game.what made me play the game??I love games based with a good storyline and need for speed the run just had that portion of it very well included in the game.

The game started off lagging a bit(No wonder as i was trying to play on ultra settings on a mid range graphics card AMD Radeon 6670 HD) but to my surprise the frame rates picked up a little later on as i continued playing on the same settings for and there was no lag whatsoever.

That makes my decision of buying an ATI graphics card rather than an Nvidia one a great buy.Well anyways coming back to the game it has great graphics, lovely storyline and as you keep playing you get more and more involved this is just the way i love it.one downside of this game was that it got over quickly and as i have said earlier since i am not a huge online gaming fan so i had to stop once the story completed but while it lasted it was really great.Need for speed the run brings back my faith in the NFS Series and i cant wait for the next installment of the series. If they do come up with something like this i would not mind taking a few days off work to play this as well as this will be time well spent. While praising the game so much let me get to the negative bit of it in detail. It shooted off my CPU temp to about 80 degrees which is quiet high well i don't have to blame the game entirely for this as it might well be something to do with my PC but still i feel the modern day developers should do something about it by trying to get the same to use less resources. To be honest i am not even sure if that's possible but it would be great if it could be.I am sure guys who still own processors like Pentium 3,4 would love it if they could run the game at least at low/medium settings but as the days are going by you get a graphics card today and it ends up being outdated tomorrow.well i guess we are living in a world of competition and nothing much can be done about it rather than us spending our hard earned money.

Gears of war and a glass of coca cola...yes yes yes !!!!

Gears of war cover art
So...Im sitting in my room doing absolutely nothing and getting bored.Whats the best thing to entertain me...dust off the gears of war 1 CD,insert it on the xbox 360 console pour on some coca cola and start the adrenaline rush.I still wonder why gears of war 1 always gives me more adrenaline rush than gears of war 2 and 3 probably because that was the first game i played on Xbox..well anyways..Its nice to know that the game developers have not compromised on the graphics and have gone ahead and made the gears of war Xbox only game(apart from the part 1)well i believe console games should stay on console and should never be ported for a pc version. Have a horrible memory of playing resident evil 4 on computer the mouse pointer, graphics and everything was so messed up on the pc version of the game.Playing the game on a ps2 was very enjoyable though. Now a days to make more sales the video game companies are not thinking twice before making a pc version of the game released on console "Alan Wake" i guess would be the best example.Haven't played that game on the pc yet but i don't think it has created a huge hype on the pc side of it.Anyways getting back to the gears of war bit.Best thing of entertainment Unlocking achievements though i have this game now since a year i have not been able to unlock all the achievements on my xbox partly because i hate playing online..or maybe because i suck at it lol.Its tough to play against the guys on xbox live as they always find ways to kill you and Indian broadbands have a knack of lagging internet connections which make matters worse !!!

Max Payne 3 Full Review

Max Payne 3 CoverMax payne 3...had been waiting long for this after all its been around 10 years since max payne 2 had been released lots has happened in that time graduated college joined work blah blah blah..but as they say everything sweet is saved for the last.Playing max payne 3 was a wonderful experience i kind of had very low expectations from the game.Initially while i tried playing the game it lagged quiet a lot turned out my graphics card(Nvidia GT240) had busted got a new graphics card (HIS ATI/AMD Radeon 6670 HD 1 GB DDR5) which turned out to be much better enjoyed the game from the beginning until the end.Three best parts of the same that i found were

  • Excellent Bullet time Angles
  • Great Storyline
  • Amazing Action
Now comes for the things i didnt like from the game.this might be a little too much to expect from a game but well its my point of view.
  •  The Campaign was a little short for me finished in two days :(
I have not played this game on  multiplayer yet...

What do you think about the same let me know on the comments section below.
