Micromax Cup:Kohli's century helps India clinch series

So,here is the match that would decide if India wins the series or Sri Lanka fights back to give themselves a chance and it goes down to the wire for the next match to be held on saturday.Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl dhoni said that does not matter as they had already decided to chase the target today.The one surprising thing about all this was that India dropped Rahul Sharma and got an additional batsman Manoj Tiwary to play as a batsman so India were one bowler short i still dont understand why Rohit Sharma is getting chance on top op chance as he has not done anything so far,Sri Lanka started off brilliantly to score 91 runs for the first partnership but things changed soon after the wicket of Dilshan who was picked up by Dinda,the batting powerplay was taken by Sri Lanka after 15 overs which was quiet surprising,Tharanga fell soon during the batting powerplay,in came the part timers to bowl we had a total of 8 bowlers bowling from the Indian team today and surprise surprise the best bowler for India was Manoj Tiwary who took 4/61 which was very good even virendar sehwag,chipped in with a wicket.All in all they restricted Sri Lanka to 251 which looked quiet achievable.The only downside about the innings was that Irfan Pathan and Zaheer Khan bowled only 6 overs each this was costly as since Dhoni gave the last over to Manoj Tiwary to bowl he leaked 18 runs off it the target orelse would have been somewhere near 230-240 i feel.

Right,so we are back now,First over Malinga was spot on and took the wicket of Ghambir in the second ball so India were 0-1,it was a bit scary as Sehwag generally throws away his wicket all the time but i loved his batting today even though he made only 34 runs he really applied himself out there and played well i feel,In comes Rohit Sharma,I must say i have no faith in  Rohit Sharma anymore i have no clue why he keeps getting chances he came in and struggled from the beginning and ended up being LBW to a ball by N Pradeep who is fairly new to the international circuit,I have no clue how many more chances Rohit Sharma requires he made just four runs today,This again put India under pressure and at this stage we had Virat Kohli and Manoj Tiwary at the crease,Manoj Tiwary is coming from a huge layoff so didnt know what to expect from this pair.So while seeing Manoj Tiwary bat he looked pretty comfortable the way he batted but he couldnt stay long to give kohli the company and was gone for 21 LBW to mendis.Suresh Raina come in and looked pretty shaky at start and gave a couple of chances for the sri lankan team who could not lach onto it.The runs came easy after this,Kohli made another well made century and he was 128 not out and India comfortably reached the target of 252 in just 42.2 overs.India very well played.India have now won the series 3-1 we have one more match coming up on saturday Sri Lanka would defintely look to get some pride out of the last one.lets see how that plays out.

So,I didn't have much to do this Sunday,Sitting at home wondering what to do decided to check out the new game syndicate.let me tell you the system requirements of this game.The minimum system requirements for the game is as follows.

looks pretty demanding doesnt it??I had a similar experience as i had in NFS underground in this game as well by the aspect of the framerates being low initially but eventually the game running flawless eventually.

Ok now,let us talk about the positives and the negatives of the game

Positives:

1. Boss Fighting is fun
2. Very innovative way of hacking different kinds of machines/human's
3. A good storyline

Negatives:

1. The Lighting in this game at times causes a headache
2. Shooting does not look that thrilling

Now,getting into the game in detail this game i would say is good but lost all its potentital because of the lighting affects.It really caused me a headache at times because of the fancy lighting.This game brings three innovative modes called as sucide,backfire and persuade.When i say about these modes it means you can literally hack into the brains of the enemy's and make them either sucide(Kill themselves and explode along with a few of them around them),backfire(The gun of the enemy backfires and helps them get out of the cover if they are in one) and persuade(this makes them fight for you and in the end they kill themselves) looks pretty cool does'nt it?You also have something known as Dart overlay which helps you kind which enemy's are behind the covers and slows down the time when they try killing you,If regenerates by itself but its good to use it wisely.So all and all Syndicate is a good game i would not say great at the same time i would recommend you guys to check this out once if you can no pressure though.The reason i ask you to check it out even though i dont find this game great is because of the difference this game has compared to a few other first person shooters.

Micromax Cup:Gambhir's century helps India lead Series lead 2-1

India showed how strong their batting is in comparison to their bowling in the third ODI against Sri Lanka held in Colombo on 28/07/2012.


Let me tell you this game had everything from two different dogs pooping twice on the cricket field to the match being almost won by India to the match being almost won by Sri Lanka to a tie everything happenedduring this match and for the dog bit iam not kidding either lol.

Looking at the scorecard Sri Lanka had a very shaky start and ended up being 20/3 looked like India would be able to contain them to a low score in came the two most senior Sri Lankan and world class players Jaywardene and Sangakkara who kept the momentum for the Sri Lankan team going and added 100 plus runs of partnership before Jaywardena was caught plumb in front to a delivery by Rahul Sharma,Sangakkara at the other end got a nasty blow on the webbing between his right thumb and index finger which rules him out of the rest of the series.He soon got out to a wide delivery by Ashok Dinda and the game was evenly poised at this stage as Sri Lankans were 182/5 In came Mendis. Matthews and Mendis held the innings together helping the Sri Lankan score to 286/5 at the end of the 50 over mark.Looked like India had lost the initial advantage of really making inroads within the Sri Lankan team.It looked like a tough task for Indians to chase down such a huge target considering their miserable performance in the last match where they were bundled out for 138 which was easily chased down the home team.When you check out the over rate it was again very slow for India. Dhoni seems to be having lots of problems getting the overs in within the specific amount of time.It looks like he might be in danger of being suspended once again due to slow over rate.

When Indians came into bat Sehwag and Ghambir looking at the skies hoping to get all the blessings they can to get India off to a good start to chase down this mammoth total.Well,this was not to be as sehwag "AGAIN" threw away his wicket trying to force things by playing a shot over the extra cover.In came Kohli the pressure was again on India as Indians at this stage were 8/1,Kohli looked content as always and added on 100 plus runs partnership with Gambhir to steady things up.Kohli soon fell caught and bowled to herath after the 100 plus run partnership the disappointment showed in his face as he was very expressive.Rohit Sharma was the next man in to step in and support Gambhir but it was MS Dhoni who came out to be before him this reminded me of his world cup innings,Dhoni looked content and held one end while gambhir continued to impress.India opted for the powerplay and in came Malinga to bowl,After about 10 innings Malinga got a wicket as a bowled dismissal and who better and what better time to get the wicket that too of Dhoni clean bowled by an in swinging yorker by Malinga,Dhoni i believe did his part in came Rohit Sharma who does not seem to be getting anything right these days,First ball he faced by Malinga a superb Yorker Rohit Sharma was plumb in front was adjudged LBW.Malinga was in a Hatrick at this point but thats the furthest he could get!.In came Suresh Raina, who was apparently the last well known batsman,By this time Sri Lankans were tightening the screws and took the run rate required by India to above 8 runs per over,pressure mounting on Gambhir who made a century but soon after while taking a risky run was run out by a direct him by Udana,So in comes Irfan Pathan the run rate kept mounting up and up it went to above 9 runs per over at one time,With a little bit of luck and patience Raina and Pathan were able to get a boundry every over and steadied the Innings and got India back to track they needed 6 runs of the last over where on the third ball of the last over Irfan Pathan hit  a boundry to seal the deal.This was a fantastic match both the teams played increadable cricket.India go up in the series 2-1.Sri Lankans would definitely do everything to bounce back in the 4th ODI to be held on tuesday as if this one goes India's way India will win the series.This puts exciting contest in our hands which i cannot wait to see!!being an indian supporter i would love to see India win but more than that i would love to see a great cricket match as i saw today.I will be reviewing the next match mostly after its over on tuesday or on wedneday lets see how this goes :)

PS Vita overheating problems

According to  a report by Andriasang a Japanese government agency is taking a closer look at Sony's PlayStation Vita after a lot of cases of systems burning out during recharging were reported.Currently 31 cases of overheating regarding the portable is being investigated by The National Institute of Technology and Evaluation.23 of which were reported to have happened in Japan.So far there is no injury reported,However one case reported that the overheating damaged the PS Vita power cable connection slot.

The incidents were blamed on liquids or other objects in the port while the systems were charging by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan as the company was confident that this was not a hardware fault.Sony further confirmed that they will not be issuing a recall and those with damaged systems will need to pay for their own repairs.

It was further said by sony that "The cases were caused by partial short-circuit on the multi-use port of PS Vita and USB cable due to small particles or liquid attached to it. We believe this is not [a] product oriented issue. The short-circuit damaged the Multi-use port, resulting in being unable to boot the system."

How to build a good budget gaming computer

There are five important components which need to be selected carefully before you build a custom gaming computer.

• Motherboard
• Processor
• Graphics Card
• PSU
• RAM 

The difference between an average and an advanced gaming computer is not much.In most cases the difference might be just a few frame rates but the cost difference might be huge.Let me explain more about the important components required for building a custom gaming computer below.

Graphics Card:

A Graphics Card is a component which brings the display to the monitor.The different kinds of graphics cards available are DDR3,DDR5,1GB,2GB,5GB etc.Dont get confused with the variety of options available in the market.

Set your priorities right.Ask yourself what kind of games you are going to play?

In case if you just want to play games like Farmville,Mafia wars or a few other online games there is no point going for a high range graphics card.In fact since these days motherboards have an integrated graphics that should easily suffice the needs for online gaming.

If however you like playing games such as Black Ops II,Assassin's Creed or Need for speed you can go in for a mid range or high range graphics card.The only reason why i do not say low range is because a low range graphics card will not perform any better than an inbuilt graphics card on a motherboard.

Most of the information will be available through internet itself.So do a google search or alternatively check the manual of the motherboard.If none of the options help you find if your motherboard has a PCIe slot as a last resort check it inside the cabinet physically.

A motherboard with a PCIe Slot is required to insert a PCIe Graphics Card.If you don't find the slot in your motherboard buy a new one.

The RAM/memory on your motherboard is different in comparison to the Graphics card PCIe slot. All that a graphic card needs is a PCIe slot and it will work.As long as you have a PCI'E slot you should be good to go.

PSU(Power Supply Unit):

I have had a best experience of changing the power supply unit thrice since i purchased the computer.The basic thing to know is the power supply is the amount of power that will be pulled out from the electrical socket which is distributed to the components of the computer inside the cabinet.The more the components the more the power will be required.Its always a good idea these days to have a minimum 600 Watts PSU from a good company which should be future proof.Apart from these the Cabinet,monitor,Keyboard and mouse can be any of your liking as they wont effect your gaming to that extent.

Now you know what components are used for.So i will get into how you can get a budget computer.Its always a good idea to do some research either in ebay or newegg and check for deals.If you buy a computer which is company built it is always likely to be expensive but if you build a custom gaming computer it will definitely be lot cheaper.Depending on the deals you are getting you can buy different components from different websites or dealers where you get the best bet and build it or if you are not techie you can ask a professional to do it for you.

My Laptop gave up on me well...Almost

Something freaky happened to me today.When i switched on my laptop for some reason the fan started making loud noises.I know a little more than an average in computer.So i thought the issue might be with the laptop overheating.I downloaded the application called Realtemp and found the temperature was minimum 92 and maximum 102.Sounds Scary doesn't it?Anyways i took this as a challenge and tried searching for what i could do to fix this.Thanks to the internet i came to know about something called as "Thermal Paste" which needs to be applied to keep the temperature in check.Thermal paste looked like a miracle to me as the temperature after applying it on the laptop went to a minimum 42 and a maximum of 75.The Maximum was a bit high but at least neither me of laptop will end up getting fried :).

Need for speed:The Run not bad at all

Let me start of by being honest here.I am not a fan of racing games at all.However something made me play need for speed the run and as i played it i loved it and ended up finishing the whole game.what made me play the game??I love games based with a good storyline and need for speed the run just had that portion of it very well included in the game.

The game started off lagging a bit(No wonder as i was trying to play on ultra settings on a mid range graphics card AMD Radeon 6670 HD) but to my surprise the frame rates picked up a little later on as i continued playing on the same settings for and there was no lag whatsoever.

That makes my decision of buying an ATI graphics card rather than an Nvidia one a great buy.Well anyways coming back to the game it has great graphics,lovely storyline and as you keep playing you get more and more involved this is just the way i love it.one downside of this game was that it got over quickly and as i have said earlier since i am not a huge online gaming fan so i had to stop once the story completed but while it lasted it was really great.Need for speed the run brings back my faith in the NFS Series and i cant wait for the next installment of the series.If they do come up with something like this i would not mind taking a few days off work to play this as well as this will be time well spent.While praising the game so much let me get to the negative bit of it in detail.It shooted off my CPU temp to about 80 degrees which is quiet high well i don't have to blame the game entirely for this as it might well be something to do with my PC but still i feel the modern day developers should do something about it by trying to get the same to use less resources.To be honest i am not even sure if that's possible but it would be great if it could be.I am sure guys who still own processors like Pentium 3,4 would love it if they could run the game at least at low/medium settings but as the days are going by you get a graphics card today and it ends up being outdated tomorrow.well i guess we are living in a world of competition and nothing much can be done about it rather than us spending our hard earned money.

The Rock Punk'd on 1000th Raw

1000th raw was awesome right from the start of the show until the endbut i am a bit disappointed as stone cold did not make appearance.However the good news is it looks like rock is getting a title shot at royal rumble wonder how the story line goes from here on in.Aj said i don't instead of i do during her wedding to Daniel Bryan and Vince has confirmed she is the  General manager for raw i mean really???that is whacked up lord knows what she will be up to now but curiosity is what will make us continue to see what happens next on wwe raw.My most favorite moment of the show was Brock Lesnar's entrance during the triple H Segment it was awesome the intensity brock brings to the show has always been great.D generation X during the start didn't seem to as good as i expected it to be as it looked asif they have lost the touch to an extent.A few surprises here and there where Lita faced heath slater..yes you read that right it was Lita(wwe Diva) who faced heath slater and undertakers return which were great.all and all it was a good show but looking at CM Punk vs john cena for a title shot during the end was a little confusing Big shows interference causes John Cena to loose the match.Rock comes to John Cena's rescue and just when he is about to perform the most electrifying move in sports entertainment on the big show he gets a clothesline from CM Punk.Does that mean Punk turns heel??what is the future of rock in the wwe???does he come back to raw permanently now or he will be making guest appearances guess we will have to stick on to find out more

Poor Batting performance by India makes it easy for Sri Lanka

Just finished watching the 2nd ODI India vs Sri Lanka held on 24/07/2012 had huge expectations from the indian cricket team ended in total disappointment :(.Wonder why Sehwag always has to throw his wicket away.It always starts with sehwag and everyone else follows.I really feel the Indians got lucky in their 1st ODI.Things would have been totally different if sri lanka did not drop those catches during the first one day international.Gautam Gambhir held up one end very well but didn't get any support from anyone which is kind of sad as that showed wicket was not unplayable.Virat kohli also couldn't hep despite the fact that in the past he has done his job really well.Rohit Sharma's technique looked shaky and it has been for quite sometime now.Raina/dhoni cant be blamed as they are better off it there are 15-20 overs left rather than more than half the game left.Everyone knows Ashwin has great potential with the bat but threw his wicket away.After a target of 138 was set for sri lankans at their home ground Indians never looked to threaten with the ball and the Sri Lankan's cruised with the bat towards a well earned victory.
