So,here is the match that would decide if India wins the series or Sri Lanka fights back to give themselves a chance and it goes down to the wire for the next match to be held on saturday.Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl dhoni said that does not matter as they had already decided to chase the target today.The one surprising thing about all this was that India dropped Rahul Sharma and got an additional batsman Manoj Tiwary to play as a batsman so India were one bowler short i still dont understand why Rohit Sharma is getting chance on top op chance as he has not done anything so far,Sri Lanka started off brilliantly to score 91 runs for the first partnership but things changed soon after the wicket of Dilshan who was picked up by Dinda,the batting powerplay was taken by Sri Lanka after 15 overs which was quiet surprising,Tharanga fell soon during the batting powerplay,in came the part timers to bowl we had a total of 8 bowlers bowling from the Indian team today and surprise surprise the best bowler for India was Manoj Tiwary who took 4/61 which was very good even virendar sehwag,chipped in with a wicket.All in all they restricted Sri Lanka to 251 which looked quiet achievable.The only downside about the innings was that Irfan Pathan and Zaheer Khan bowled only 6 overs each this was costly as since Dhoni gave the last over to Manoj Tiwary to bowl he leaked 18 runs off it the target orelse would have been somewhere near 230-240 i feel.Right,so we are back now,First over Malinga was spot on and took the wicket of Ghambir in the second ball so India were 0-1,it was a bit scary as Sehwag generally throws away his wicket all the time but i loved his batting today even though he made only 34 runs he really applied himself out there and played well i feel,In comes Rohit Sharma,I must say i have no faith in Rohit Sharma anymore i have no clue why he keeps getting chances he came in and struggled from the beginning and ended up being LBW to a ball by N Pradeep who is fairly new to the international circuit,I have no clue how many more chances Rohit Sharma requires he made just four runs today,This again put India under pressure and at this stage we had Virat Kohli and Manoj Tiwary at the crease,Manoj Tiwary is coming from a huge layoff so didnt know what to expect from this pair.So while seeing Manoj Tiwary bat he looked pretty comfortable the way he batted but he couldnt stay long to give kohli the company and was gone for 21 LBW to mendis.Suresh Raina come in and looked pretty shaky at start and gave a couple of chances for the sri lankan team who could not lach onto it.The runs came easy after this,Kohli made another well made century and he was 128 not out and India comfortably reached the target of 252 in just 42.2 overs.India very well played.India have now won the series 3-1 we have one more match coming up on saturday Sri Lanka would defintely look to get some pride out of the last one.lets see how that plays out.
