A Florida Sinkhole swallows a man from his bedroom.

A man while sleeping in his bedroom on Sunday was swallowed by a Sinkhole in Florida.The Florida Sinkhole was 20 feet wide and  the opening was covered by the house.The rescue operation was called off by the fire and rescue team because of fears that the house might collapse on them.Two neighboring houses were also evacuated as a precaution.

The Crew are now planning to demolish the house over the Florida sinkhole as it has now become very dangerous for the fire and rescue team to continue on the pursuit of the man who fell on Sunday night.

It has also been said that there are hardly any houses in Florida which are immune from the phenomenon and this is also said to be common within the area.

How are Sinkholes Formed

You might wonder how these holes are actually formed especially the Florida Sinkhole that swallowed a man.To answer the question these are mostly formed by the process of suffosion.In Short a sinkhole which is also called as a sink, snake hole, swallow hole, swallet, doline, or cenote is a natural depression or hole in the Earth's surface which is caused by karst processes

For example,Carbonate cement holding the sandstone particles that is dissolved by groundwater may carry away the lax particles which gradually causes a void.Apart from Florida Sinkholes this phenomenon is generally found all over the world.In the United States the they are common in places such as Texas,Alabama, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Florida,as per the U.S. Geological Survey.

Sinkhole Facts:

A few facts that will help you determine if you might also be having the problem is

• Cracking in your walls, floor, pavement
• Slumping or sagging trees
• Formation of small puddles where water is collecting during rains.
• Physical depressions or holes in the yard of the street

The Florida Sinkhole was the first time i heard about such a phenomenon and i somehow feel that the last decade has shown us a lot of new things about the nature.Hopefully we as people can learn from all the natures signs and try to contribute towards lessening the Global Warming and pollution wherever possible to make this world a better and a safer place to live in.

101 year old woman comes back to life after presumed dead

A Chinese woman who was 101 years old was confirmed dead and put into a coffin by her family.To everyone's surprise and delight she came back to life as all the mourners gathered for her funeral.Shanghai Daily reported that the incident occurred last Sunday in Guangdong province.

The woman had taken a fall earlier and was bed ridden for the past two weeks.Here two daughters who returned home at that time were taking care of her.
However on Saturday Morning  the daughters noticed that her body was stiff.As they could not feel any signs of her breath or a heart beat the daughters presumed her dead and everyone gathered for the funeral for next day.

As the villagers cleaned the woman's body and were about to put her in the coffin she greeted everyone with her pet words: "Here you come."

The surprise villagers use the meal to throw a banquet rather than the originally planned funeral.

Who says there are no miracles.This is one of the best examples of it.This proves that both life and death are in gods hand and no living entity has any control over it.What are your thoughts?

This is an abandoned town in Rajasthan, India which was created for a prince as a memorial to his war efforts and it is said to be the most haunted place in the country.Due to a curse Bhangarh was  abandoned in 1783.Till today there is board outside which says people are not allowed to enter inside before sunset or after sunrise

07:A fire that never goes out:

During the year 1962 in a place called Centralia in Pennsylvania there was a fire set to the rubbish in an abandoned mine to clean the town up.Apparently the fire was so strong that it spread to the deeper recesses and ended up setting the abandoned coal mine on fire.Since then it has been burning below the empty streets of the city.There is a Danger around every corner in Centralia which includes poisonous gases, collapsing roads and fire.

06.Hell exists here?

Hell may or may not exist but in either case this place certainly exists.The Gates of Hell is apparently a 328 foot wide hole which is in Turkmenistan. Soviet drilling accident in 1971 caused the hole which leaked dangerous gases.Scientists thought the best way would be to burn them off which caused it caused it to burn non stop until now and the glow can also be seen from miles away

05.Tophet Sanctuary:

A Sanctuary which is in Tunisia is a home to thousands of graves of children only which make historians believe that  they may have been the victim of human sacrifice during old times. It is also believed that he children might have been sacrificed and then eaten due to starvation during the time.

Bondi Beach in Australia closed due to a rare phenomenon

A rare Phenomenon known as Algae Bloom has closed off the Bondi Beach In Sydney,Australia. An algal bloom which is a rapid increase of algae (typically microscopic) in an aquatic system and occurs in freshwater as well as marine environments closed Sydney's Bondi Beach to all the swimmers as the crimson tide came close towards the shore.

Clovelly Beach which was nearby was also closed as the authorities were conducting tests around the Tasman Sea.

Swimmers were advised to stay far from this as it was harmful.Even though this is not known to cause a lot of harm it can end up causing skin irritations for some. Some Lifeguards also said that it had a fishy smell to it.

This comes as a huge disappointment for tourists this holiday season who would have liked to have a dip in the water during the time when the Australia's summer temperatures peak up to 40C.

Woman Survives for 44 years with thermometer in lung

A group of Doctors in China discovered a thermometer inside a woman's body that had been there for 44 years! During a regular hospital check up, doctors had discovered approximately a two-inch long foreign object inside a woman’s (named “Liu,”) left lung.

“She told us when she was 12 she had a fever. The family put a thermometer in her mouth to measure her temperature, but she swallowed the thermometer on the spot,” said Yang Qihong, Liu’s neighbor.

As the patient and her family could not afford medical care they could not have the object removed.

Even though the thermometer has stayed inside her lung for 44 years, the amazing fact is that this hasn’t caused any kind of discomfort up until then.However the only cause of concern the doctors have is that if the thermometer breaks the mercury inside can cause serious heath problems for the patient. Its still not ascertained the plan of action the doctors have to remove the thermometer hopefully things should be sorted out soon and Liu back to her normal health in a jiffy.

As we near to the end of 2012 more and more bizzare things continue to happen right from the climate,earthquakes to a few things which are unexplainable.This is something which happened in Clintonville which is a small town in Westconsin in United states.People appear to hear loud boom noises with trembling which is apparently is coming from underground.The sesmic experts have confirmed that this is no earth quake.The Unidentified booms, rumbles, shakes and sounds which sounded like explosions were reported by residents  of Clintonville on the evening of Sunday, March 18. Five loud, unexplainable myterious booms thundered through the town at approximately two-hour intervals from around 8 p.m. They occurred once again the nextnight, and, much to the the  relief of sleepless people,the sounds finally stopped Tuesday night. As The town thought it was over, the sounds started again Wednesday night. Along with the sounds was vibrations that shook homes and household objects in the northeast corner of town, As said by city manager Lisa Kuss. There were also  indications from witnesses that the booming was spreading to areas south and west of the original locations, reported WTAQ. The original area of the booms as stated was in the northeast part of the city.This is one of the wierdest things i have heard in a long time.What could this be?It sounded like a flick from a sci fi movie.To be honest im not sure what the situation now is but i hope everything settles down soon and this turns off to be nothing more than a one off natural phenomena.

Friday the 13th is a myth or real?

Did you know that "You can't have any(Year)without friday the 13th and you can't have any with four, because of our funny calendar???

There are so many superstitions around the world about friday the 13th.Some people consider this as an unlucky number many have lost their jobs,a lot of income on the friday the 13th ofcourse this can be nothing more than a myth but the number of instances this has been happening in is alarming.Its funny how you get so many links when you just do a simple google search in regards to friday the 13th which shows a few people's bizzare encounters.Im not sure if what the people are trying to say is true or not but there seem to be quite a few freaky stories to read.

The fear of the number 13 is almost everywhere.For example more than 80 percent of high-rise buildings lack a 13th floor,Also many airports skip the 13th gate. Hospitals and hotels regularly have no room number 13.This is something i have not personally noticed but when i think ahout it yes where is number 13?I have not seen it at many places even in menu cards of a few hotels do not have that number at times!

The one thing i like about friday the 13th is the movie :).Remember the Jason Voorhees movie where A group of young adults discover a boarded up Camp Crystal Lake, where they soon encounter Jason Voorhees and his deadly intentions?That was one hell of a movie!

Its so funny that there are so many bizzare stories surrounding this and we have equal number of scenarios where this number has actually proved unlucky.That is of course as per the people who say so !.So what are your thoughts on this?would you do good things or start something on the 13th or you will pass?

Teen Girl Drives 700 Miles to meet Online Beau

There were a few reports of a missing 13-year-old girl fortunately she had been found safe, but she was as far as 700 miles from home when she was found.Apparently this Texas teen had an argument with her parents about a boy she met online on Xbox and decided to leave. She snuck out her bedroom window, swiped her brother's car, and set out for Kentucky to meet up with her 12-year-old beau,as per the report by Houston Chronicle. A Tennessee state trooper pulled over the girl in Nashville after he noticed her car matched the description in an Amber Alert. Though a few years away from getting her learner's permit, she somehow managed to navigate 700 miles cross-country. (She still had another 130 or so miles to go.) "It's amazing she was able to manipulate the roadways," says one officer. She was released to her parents, and no charges are expected to be filed.Unbelievable things keep happening each day dont they?

With 17.7 Feet, 87 Eggs Florida has the biggest Burmese Python

As reported by National Geographic News,Florida has the biggest burmese Python,Can you imagine a python as long as 17.7 feet with 87 eggs.This is a great discovery and quite freaky.Being Scared of snakes i would never want to be around this one.Also looking at the 87 eggs it suggests there might be more of them.Now imagine having this in your living room :S.It has also been confirmed that Florida's previous biggest-snake record-holder was a 16.8-foot-long (5.12-meter-long) Burmese python. Finding a bigger one "is a great indication that conditions in Florida are really perfect for them," said J.D. Willson, a biologist and snake expert at the University of Arkansas.

A bull takes revenge on man for pouring water on it!!!

This in undoutedly one of the most weirdest things i have heard in recent history.Apparently there was a  BULL which wanted to take revenge on an old man who had poured hot water on it and it was so focussed on taking revenge  that it waited for him the next day and then gored him to death.Makkal Osai reported that bull gored the man from Deori, Madhya Pradesh, India, a day after he threw hot water on it.The bull had apparently been watching for Narayan Prajpati, 65, and attacked him when he was having his morning tea.Prajapati ran into his hut but the bull followed him and unfortunately he couldnt survive. Neighbours chased the bull  away and took Prajapati to hospital where he died.But whats more astonshing is that the bull showed up at the crematorium when Prajapati was cremated, presumably to ensure that its tormentor was really gone.This definitely sounds unbelievable but its true and also again reiterates the point where animals are now in such a state that they are taking the matters in their own hands to try and stop animal cruelty!

When the World's Shortest man met the World's Shortest woman!!!

Do you know whats the world record for the shortest people who live??? The actual record is combined at 21.5 inches tall, The name of the  world's shortest man is Chandra Bahadur Dangi and the world's shortest woman is named as  Jyoti Amge.The two were brought together for the promotion of the  2013 edition of Guinness World Records.The Associated Press also confirmed that last year Amge had told them that she  wants to be a Bollywood star and get a university degree.She also proudly stated "I have put Nagpur on the world map,"!!!

I just love how people accept how they are and proud of it..Kudos to both of them :)

Guys,trust me when i say this,this is one of the scariest things i have ever head in my life!!!!Im not sure if this is real or fake but the story goes like this the Bélmez Faces or the Faces of Bélmez is an alleged paranormal phenomenon in a private house in Spain which started in 1971 when residents claimed images of faces appeared in the concrete floor of the house. These images have continuously formed and disappeared on the floor of the home.Located at the Pereira family home at Street Real 5, Bélmez de la Moraleda, Jaén, Spain, the Bélmez faces have been responsible for bringing large numbers of sightseers to Bélmez.
The phenomenon is considered by some parapsychologists the best-documented and "without doubt the most important paranormal phenomenon [in the 20th] century".Various faces have appeared and disappeared at irregular intervals since 1971 and have been frequently photographed by the local newspapers and curious visitors. Many Bélmez residents believe that the faces were not made by human hand. Bermuda Triangle scary facts !!!!

Since i was young i was fascinated by unsolved mysteries,scary ghost stories,unexplained phenomena etc and one thing that was almost of top of the list was the Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and surface vessels are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.Popular culture has attributed these disappearances to the paranormal or activity by extraterrestrial beings.Documented evidence indicates that a significant percentage of the incidents were spurious, inaccurately reported or embellished by later authors, and numerous official agencies have stated that the number and nature of disappearances in the region is similar to that in any other area of ocean.I have never been there and i never want to be there either...it sounds enough scary for me to lay around in my room and continue playing on my xbox.There have been many theories of the Bermuda triangle I have heard.I have heard things such as its a place  where ghosts exists and never let people return,A place for aliens on earth,its a place where gravity does not exist.A few of the natural explanations of the Bermuda triangle are

This has been debated from a long time and i have also found clues on the internet where people have confirmed that they have gone through it,come back and confirmed that the birds fishes and all survive and this is just a myth but the amount of disappearances that have happened there is the biggest question everyone with a very few answers.

Vampires Existence has been proven !!!!

Do you think vampires really exist???In the times that we live currently where most of the teens and few of the adults are obsessed with Twilight movies im sure they would not mind with a few of them existing in their neck of the woods as long as they dont harm and survive on a bottle of blood as shown in true blood(HBO Series)...There have been instances where people have had sightings of the vampires which ofcourse we cannot rely if its true or not but makes the subject fasinating.There have been a few people who are convinced that they do exsist and are ready to swear their lives on it. you might have come across a few people who fear the day time and also who  have yellow fang-like teeth, animal-looking nails and are allergic to garlic, By the way, the fact that old ladies are bitten isn’t a myth; in the Kaliningrad region a teenager killed 2 pensioners for a special vampire ceremony. The cruelest accident happened in Great Britain 4 years ago. Then a 17-year teenager slaughtered his female neighbor, teared out her heart and sucked out blood to gain immortality.Almost each nation has legends about vampires that hunt people at night and drink their blood. Spider found living in a Chinese woman's ear canal for five days!!!!

One of the weirdest things i have heard all week.There was this woman who had a spider living in her ear canal for 5 days ewwww...NDTV reported on their website that the patient arrived at China's Changsha Central Hospital with an itchy ear, only to learn the cause was a
spider that had crawled into the ear canal. To make things worse, doctors believe the arachnid had been in there for five days, Daily Mail reported on Friday.Fortunately for the woman, there was some good news - doctors told her the problem would have been far worse if she had tried to scratch it.At first the medics planned to use tweezers to grab the spider and pull it out - but they were worried that the creature might bite the patient.Can you imagine this?????shocking!!!!

Is Kinesio tape a performance enhancer of Olympics 2012???

Here is something that i just found out watching the London Olympics 2012.Im sure you would have noticed a bunch of athletes at the London Olympics coated in colored tape(bright blue, pink, black or beige).
I was curious to know what this was and did a bit of research and found out that the elusive material is called Kinesio tape. Its inventor, Japanese chiropractor and acupuncturist Dr. Kenzo Kase, claims that the elastic tape reduces pain and supports muscles without restricting movement like other traditional sports tapes. According to the Kinesio website, the tape “microscopically lifts skin and channels away moisture. “The special tape was actually developed more than thirty years ago, but only recently gained in popularity. Really wonder if this helps out the athletes a long way or this is something that helps them more psychologically as there is no firm scientific data available  to show that it has an impact on performance or prevents injuries."

As long as its legal and the authorities are happy and we get to see fair play in Olympics we are happy to see these new innovations after all the world keeps changing every day and as we saw what Usain Bolt did a few days ago we are not far away from seeing people fly in the near future :D.

Q: Is there a planet or brown dwarf called Nibiru or Planet X or Eris that is approaching the Earth and threatening our planet with widespread destruction?
A: Nibiru and other stories about wayward planets are an Internet hoax. There is no factual basis for these claims. If Nibiru or Planet X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth in 2012, astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade, and it would be visible by now to the naked eye. Obviously, it does not exist. Eris is real, but it is a dwarf planet similar to Pluto that will remain in the outer solar system; the closest it can come to Earth is about 4 billion miles.

Q: What is the polar shift theory? Is it true that the earth’s crust does a 180-degree rotation around the core in a matter of days if not hours?
A: A reversal in the rotation of Earth is impossible. There are slow movements of the continents (for example Antarctica was near the equator hundreds of millions of years ago), but that is irrelevant to claims of reversal of the rotational poles. However, many of the disaster websites pull a bait-and-switch to fool people. They claim a relationship between the rotation and the magnetic polarity of Earth, which does change irregularly, with a magnetic reversal taking place every 400,000 years on average. As far as we know, such a magnetic reversal doesn’t cause any harm to life on Earth. A magnetic reversal is very unlikely to happen in the next few millennia, anyway. 

Q: Is the Earth in danger of being hit by a meteor in 2012?
A: The Earth has always been subject to impacts by comets and asteroids, although big hits are very rare. The last big impact was 65 million years ago, and that led to the extinction of the dinosaurs. Today NASA astronomers are carrying out a survey called the Spaceguard Survey to find any large near-Earth asteroids long before they hit. We have already determined that there are no threatening asteroids as large as the one that killed the dinosaurs. All this work is done openly with the discoveries posted every day on the NASA NEO Program Office website, so you can see for yourself that nothing is predicted to hit in 2012.

Q: How do NASA scientists feel about claims of pending doomsday?
A: For any claims of disaster or dramatic changes in 2012, where is the science? Where is the evidence? There is none, and for all the fictional assertions, whether they are made in books, movies, documentaries or over the Internet, we cannot change that simple fact. There is no credible evidence for any of the assertions made in support of unusual events taking place in December 2012.

Q: Is there a danger from giant solar storms predicted for 2012?
A: Solar activity has a regular cycle, with peaks approximately every 11 years. Near these activity peaks, solar flares can cause some interruption of satellite communications, although engineers are learning how to build electronics that are protected against most solar storms. But there is no special risk associated with 2012. The next solar maximum will occur in the 2012-2014 time frame and is predicted to be an average solar cycle, no different than previous cycles throughout history.

Mark Zuckerberg's sister will now be a google employee

Google confirmed on Tuesday that they will be purchasing Wildfire which specializes in advertising on social media websites like facebook and twitter

"It's a platform for brands to manage their pages, apps, tweets, videos, sponsorships, ads, promotions and more, all in one place", Google's product management chief Jason Miller said on Wildfire via a blog post. "We're happy to share that the Wildfire team will be joining Google."

Arielle,(Mark Zuckerberg's younger sister) works for Wildfire as a junior product manager.and will become a google employee post acquisition.
 
The older sis Randi Zuckerberg said through twitter, "Congrats Wildfire! There are officially now more Zuckerberg family members working for Google than Facebook!".

They'll be one awkward family reunion alright!
