10.Allison Stokke, Pole Vault:

She went from being a pretty high school girl to internet sensation in a jiffy. A picture of a 17 year old Stokke at a track meet was posted on the web and became an instant hit. She soon had 1,000 new messages on her MySpace page and a YouTube video of her analysing her performance was viewed 150,000 times. She has been the California pole vaulting champion and now vaults for the University of California at Berkeley. 

09.Yelena Isinbayeva:

Yelena Isinbayeva, Pole Vault: Track and field fans will have clocked Isinbayeva, widely regarded as the greatest female pole-vaulter of all time. The Russian beauty is a two-time Olympic gold medallist (2004 and 2008), five-times World Champion, and the current world record holder in the event. Isinbayeva has set the pole vault world record 27 times. She was named Female Athlete of the Year by the IAAF in 2004, 2005 and 2008, and World Sportswoman of the Year by Laureus in 2007 and 2009.

Amanda Beard, Swimming: She is 30, married and a mother of one but is still considered by many to be the hottest in a sport that is full of sexy women. She has featured in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit edition in 2006 and also posed nude for Playboy in 2007. But, mind you, she's not all oomph and no substance. She is a seven-time Olympic medallist (two gold, four silver, one bronze) and a former world record holder in the 200-meter breaststroke. She has also won the American Swimmer of the year Award twice.

Guys dig speed and auto racing driver Danica is one fast woman. She is the most successful woman in the history of American open-wheel racing, being the only woman to win in IndyCar Series. She competed in the series from 2005 to 2011 and currently races in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. The 29-year-old has also modeled, appeared on TV shows, starred in a Jay-Z music video and endorses many high profile products. Among her personal car collection is a Lamborghini Gallardo.

At 5'10”, blonde blue-eyed Erica Hosseini is fit to be a model - which she is actually, apart from being a professional surfer with aspirations of becoming an actress. She had auditioned for the role of Willow in the movie X-Men: First Class. She got her first surfboard at age 11 and at 14 she broke a world record by becoming the youngest surfer to make the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) finals. She has posed for Maxim, Men's Journal, Transworld, 944, and the LA Times. 

05.Hope Solo, Football: 

 The goalkeeper of the US national soccer team has 103 caps to her credit and is an Arsenal fan. Solo won the "Golden Glove" award for best goalkeeper, and the "Bronze Ball" award for her overall performance at the 2011 FIFA World Cup. She was also featured in the "All-star" team of the tournament. She is one of the most recognised women's football player and appeared on American dance reality show, Dancing With The Stars, this season, getting eliminated only a week before the finale.

The Brazilian football player who plays for the national team has attracted lots of attention for her moves on and off the field. Many consider her the sexiest soccer player ever. Extremely comfortable in her skin, she has left little to the imagination with her provocative and nude photoshoots. Add to that she does the scoring - that is on the field - after all she is a striker. 

03.Leryn Franco, Javelin: 

She hit the limelight during the Beijing Olympics in 2008. No, not for her athletic prowess but for her good looks and figure. Not many are aware or care to even know which country she belongs to (Paraguay) but she is regularly featured on the list of hottest female athletes. She also juggles a career as a model and beauty pageant contestant. In 2006, she was the runner-up at the Miss Universo Paraguay pageant. She also has her own calendar.

She is a track athlete who also dabbles in beauty competitions. The Italian, who runs the 800 and 1500 meters, was Miss Lombardia (Italy) in 2009. She is the 5-time regional champion in Lombardia in both the races she runs. Many refer to her as the Allison Stokke of Italy.
