Kieron Pollard century in vain as Aussies go 4-0 up

Australia Vs West Indies 2013:Australia win despite Kieron Pollard century

West Indies continue to have tough luck in Australia as they are still to win a match. After winning the toss and choosing to bat the West Indies team struggled again and at one stage were 55 runs for the score of 6 wickets.

A Kieron Pollard century was the only highlight of the West Indies innings which pushed their total to 220.

Ben Cutting and Mitchell Johnson impressed once again when they both picked up 3 wickets and kept the West Indies innings in check throughout.

When the Australians came into bat they never really looked in trouble.Shane Watson continued  his good form after making a century in the last match. making 76 runs.

West Indies bowling was average with Sunil Naraine and Tino best picking up two wickets but since the total was too small the match seemed to be half lost after the West Indies Batting concluded.

West Indies now have lost 4 out of 4 matches against the Australians with one ODI to go.

The West Indies team will be hoping to salvage some pride by winning the last match but the Australians will prefer a whitewash to give them momentum a few days before their tour against India Starts.

The Player of the match was Kieron Pollard for his century
