Tomb Raider Movie in the Makes

The 2001 Angelina Jolie starrer adventure and fantasy film Tomb Raider is coming back in its new form.A new Tomb Raider Movie which will not be a continuation to the previous Angelina Jolie movies is said to be in the makes confirmed Variety.

GK Films,A company that provided super hit movies such as the The Departed and Argo are working closely with Crystal Dynamics towards the making of the Film.

The first Movie released in 2001 didn't impress much and Angelina Jolie also received  the Worst Actress Golden Raspberry Award which she actually lost to Mariah Carey for the movie Glitter.

However this movie that's in the makes and about to release is expected to be much better than the previous one's as Darrell Gallagher(Head of Crystal Dynamics)has confirmed that the current movie will not be a continuation of the previous Tomb Raider Movies released in 2001 and 2003.

As for now it has not been confirmed if Angelina Jolie will be a part of the new Tomb Raider Film.If she is not the one it would be interesting to see who replaces her.

I remember seeing this movie ages ago and i really feel they didn't do much justice to how good the game franchise actually is.It will be nice to see a bit more of action in the upcoming Tomb Raider movie and hopefully fingers crossed we will get to see Angelina Jolie reprise her role once again.
