South Africa Vs Pakistan 2013 - 2nd T20 - Results,Review and Statistical Highlights
After South Africa won the test series convincingly by dominating all the three test matches and winning the series 3-0 against Pakistan the 2nd Twenty20 cricket match between the two teams today was a different ball game with the touring team making amends and thanks to umar gul's superb bowling spell helping them win the Twenty20 cricket match comfortably by 95 runs.
Full Statistical Highlights:
Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat but lost Nasir Jamshed quite early when their score was 29 runs but then came a brilliant partnership between Mohammed Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad who made 86(65) and 46(25) balls respectively helping Pakistan to reach a target of 195 which was quite huge.
Kyle Abbott who made amends in his test debut went for plenty of runs while South Africa were bowling.So did the other bowlers.The highlights of the South African Bowling was Rory Kleinveldt who picked up 2 wickets for 27 runs and Chris Morris who picked up 2 wickets for 35 Runs.
No one apart from AB de Villiers got off to a start during the South African batting.He made 36 runs of 22 balls but there was not much of a support for him from the other end and the South Africans were eventually bundled out for just a 100 runs.
Umar Gul and Mohammed Hafeez were the best highlights of the Pakistan bowling attack with both picking up 5 and 3 wickets respectively and helping Pakistan achieve a well deserved victory after a lean test series.
