Twitter for Android and iOS update brings variety of features
The online social networking and blogging service twitter has updated its smartphone application within the Android and iOS devices.The twitter for android and ios app will now include an improved search feature within both the platforms in comparison to the previous update.
While searching users will be able to see the query in real time which can also be seen while adding hashtags and composing new tweets.
Last month's update allowed the inclusion of older tweets in the search results.However it is unclear how far old tweets would not be visible while a user performs a search.
When users get redirected to a specific page after clicking on a tweet,the contextual tweet will appear in the bottom of the page (By pulling the tray icon) which will allow users options to reply,retweet,favorite within the same page itself.
The smartphone applications will now also feature a smooth animation which will allow the results to load much faster.
A few video upload services such as Mobypicture,Vodpod and posterus have been removed in application on the iOS devices.This allows the application to have its very own native video upload support which can only be done through Twitvid and yFrog.
