PlayStation Plus an Important feature of PS4
Sony's upcoming PlayStation Network subscription service also known as PlayStation Plus is expected to be a core feature of the PlayStation 4 console confirmed Sony.
The CEO of the company further went on to say at their PlayStation Blog.that they are not in a position to disclose any further information but guaranteed that the feature will play a very important role while playing on the console.PlayStation Plus Subscription Fees:
The feature which looks to be almost similar in nature to the xbox live subscription will be priced at $50 and the subscribers will receive access to multiple cool features such as
- Instant Game Collection
- Early Access to demos
- Automatic Updates
- Discounts
The Company further confirmed that they are considering to offer subscriptions just like Cable TV Offerings but did not reveal any plans for now.
This Premium online service developed by Sony Computer entertainment might be a perfect competitor for Xbox Live and it will be nice to see what extra benefits are offered within Sony's upcoming console in comparison to the Xbox Live membership.
The Company was also offering a free playstation plus trial for their console through their Facebook page.The offer has now ended but gave the gamers a PlayStation Plus 30 days free trial which would help give the gamers a fair bit of an idea of what to expect from this upcoming feature.
