295,000 units of Super Mario Bros.2 sold in September



New Super Mario Bros. 2 was September's fourth best-selling game in the United States  confirmed Research group NPD. Nintendo stated that the game has shifted a staggering 295,000 units this September.

In addition to Super Mario Bros 2 Nintendo has also confirmed that sales of the games such as Mario Kart 7, Star Fox 64 3D, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D had also increased.The total 3DS software sales had also hiked to 89 percent in comparison to this time last year.

Lastly,Nintendo announced the following 
  • More than 5 million Super Mario 64 DS copies has now been sold in the United States alone
  • New Super Mario Bros. has sold around 10.6 million
  • Mario Kart DS has sold around 8.5 million

Madden NFL 13 was the best-selling game of the month which was followed by Borderlands 2 and FIFA Soccer 13

I miss playing Mario hopefully fingers crossed i will be able to get a nintendo 3ds soon to play it ;)
