Champions League Twenty20:Auckland Aces Vs Hampshire
Looking at the match between Auckland Aces and Sialkot Stallions i didnt know if Auckland will be able to repeat their performance.Well,the way they placed they cleared all my doubts.Today Azhar Mahmood played some brilliant cricket as he picked up 5 wickets and made a fifty(Any all rounders dream isn't it?)The way Auckland Aces played yesterday and today clearly shows they are well prepared for the tournament.With this win they now qualify for the normal group matches against the big guns.Shahid Afridi who plays for Hampshire could not perform when required today he got out cheaply.Even though he picked up a few wickets it didn't look convincing.He has stopped performing with the bat well before the ICC Twenty20 world cup.Is it now safe to say that he is a bowling all rounder?I wouldn't risk that because every time a finger has been taken on a player he has performed so lets wait and hope he gets back to his Boom Boom self.Below is the full scorecard of the match.| Auckland Aces | 123-2 (14.3) | Runs | Balls | 4s | 6s | SR | |
