This was a pressure match as the result would have decided who would have a chance of making it to the Semi Finals.Yorkshire were short by 20-30 runs during their batting as they were able to only score only 131 runs.When Lions came into bat conditions didn't look too good for them to bat as they lost regular wickets at one point it looked like Yorkshire might just be able to pull things through giving hope to the Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians of a Semi Final birth but their hopes were crushed by Jean Symes who made sure the lions were through with his brilliant batting.So this now closes the door for Chennai and Mumbai and the teams that go through to the semi finals are Highfield Lions and Sydney Sixers from this group.Below is the full scorecard of the match.
