Ubisoft does not seem to be worried that Far Cry 3 will launch just three weeks after Call of Duty: Black Ops II. After Ubisoft spoke to MCV, brand manager Henri Guay had confidently said that the novelty and the different kind of experience in Far Cry franchise is what attract gamers towards it.
He also said they feel like they are in a comfortable spot as even though people will continue playing call of duty people are always going to look for something different.
The game was set to launch early September but has been delayed to November 29 in Europe and December 4 in the United States to give the developers more time to polish the game. So its fair to say that the developers are working hard on the game and looks like this might just live up to the expectations of the Far Cry franchise.
