Call Of Duty and Guitar Hero Affected by Hurricane Sandy

The  Hurricane Sandy,Frankenstorm or storm apocalypse which caused the life in new york to come to a halt for at least a couple of days also affected the gaming community.

Activision in their One of Swords blog advised the players that they might face connectivity issues until the power in New York was stabilized for a few games.The games that were affected by this were

Call of Duty: World at War (all platforms)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PlayStation 3)
Call of Duty: Black Ops (PlayStation 3, PC, Wii)
Guitar Hero (all titles and platforms)


Activision is currently working on the issue to restore the service as soon as possible but have not provided a proper time frame for the same.Activision support website also have just stated that multiplayer services are affected and they are working on the issue.
