A new xbox service to launch on Oct 26

Are you getting bored of having the same features on your Xbox?If that's the case worry no more as i come with good news.Microsoft have confirmed that a new Xbox Music service will debut on October 26 alongside the launch one of their most anticipated operating systems Windows 8, This has been confirmed by multiple sources to  The Verge

As confirmed in the reports Xbox Music will offer a subscription option which will be quite similar to the existing Zune Music Pass along with a  free, ad-supported option in the vein of Spotify. This will release for Windows Phone, Windows 8, and Xbox 360,but xbox music will not be available for iOS and Android devices upon launch.

The integration with Microsoft's SkyDrive will be a major feature of xbox music,  What this will do is it will allow users to store music and playlists in the cloud and get access to them within the range of devices.
A Microsoft representative have confirmed to GameSpot, that they are  not commenting on speculation around Xbox Music features. What they can say though is that they are  excited for Xbox Music as their definitive music service. This will bring great new way of enjoyment, sharing and discovering new music on all the Windows 8 devices, Xbox 360 console, and Windows Phone 8. They also confirmed that they will let us know when we have more information to share. The Launch was formally announced by Microsoft at its 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo media briefing held in June. At that time, very few details were shared. However, later on Bloomberg report indicated Microsoft was negotiating with the "Big Four" major record firms for confirming the  licensing deals, The record firms contacted were  Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Sony Music Group, and EMI.At that  time, apparently negotiations were reportedly only beginning.

This news looks like Microsoft is seriously looking to compete with apple now.I still remember a few months back watching an advertisement on TV regarding cloud on Apple devices.Im very happy with this news as microsoft have all the firepower to bring some great innovations to the gaming industry and now to the Cloud service as well.
