If you are wondering whats next in store for Angry Birds brace yourself as they have hinted a release of Angry Birds Star Wars.Rovio has confirmed the same through a new Tumblr account  which has an image that  appears to have a bird with some kind of a star wars theme.

The page also confirmed that more details on this mystery project will be shared at 8 a.m. on October 8.

If this turns out to be true this wont be the first licensed partnership for the series. Over the summer, Rovio had also joined hands with Green Day for a 10-level episode which was based around the group. The company had launched Angry Birds Rio, a tie-in for Blue Sky Studios' 2011 animated film Rio earlier as well.

Additionally to confirm the above(Green Day Episode) in detail Rovio had announced that it  the Grammy-winning punk-pop band will be featured in the new edition of  Facebook game Angry Birds Friends.

Angry Birds Friends/(Green Day Episode) will feature 10 levels which will include nods to the band, from amplifiers and guitars to re-creations of the cover art from the band's album American Idiot. Rovio is even adding band members Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool in the game as new porcine adversaries

This is not the first time Green Day have entered the world of games. In 2010, Harmonix released Green Day: Rock Band, which featured 47 of the Bay Area outfit's tracks, as well as a handful of downloadable songs.

So for all the star wars/green day fans out there its time to start playing Angry Birds!
