ICC WorldTwenty20 Super 8:India Vs South Africa Cricket Match
The way South African's played today definitely looked as if they were more interested in making 122 to make sure India does not enter the semi finals. They did succeed but what they did not do is win the match.Even though they lost by 1 run if there were a little assertive earlier in the match it would have been easier for them to easily win this one. What was the point of playing so slowly and making sure if they dont make it to the semi finals they will make sure the others don't too?especially when they dont have anything to loose? The match would have been much better if South Africa really went after the real target rather than playing cautiously towards 122.The match looked to be played very negatively the way i saw it at least.anyways the final four who are about the play in the semi finals are Australia,Pakistan,Sri Lanka and West Indies.Indians would have had a better chance but the crushing defeat in their first super8s match against Australia hurt them bad and really messed up their net run rate and also the loss of Australia to pakistan today didnt help them either.below is the full scorecard of the match.
