ICC World Twenty20 Finals:Sri Lanka Vs West Indies
Who would have thought at the start of the tournament that west Indies would be in the finals? But the way they performed as the time passed in the tournament they truly deserve to be the world twenty20 champions. When the match started Sri Lanka hardly gave any runs away and it took 17 balls for the west indies team to get their first runs of the bat.The West Indies team showed great spirit and enthusiasm towards the game which gave them the edge against other teams.Chris Gayle had already said in the presentation of their last match against Australia that West Indies will win it and they truly kept up to their word.Sri Lanka seems to to do everything right accept winning the finals and it sometimes looks as if they are getting overconfident even in the 50 over world cup they got a bit overconfident after getting a big total but lost to India. But at the end of the day a fantastic match Sri Lanka bowled superbly but West Indies were better today!
