The match between England and Afghanistan held on 21/09/2012 was fairly one sided similar to the match that happened earlier during the day between New Zealand and Bangladesh.It will come as no surprise when i say England won the match convincingly but when the match started Afghanistan bowled brilliantly during their first 5 overs and then lost their way a little bit.To be honest Afghanistan cricket team looks superb to me but they just need to do a few amendments to the way they approach the game and they will definitely be a force to recon with.When England were batting Luke Wright made a brilliant 99 not out of just 55 balls to help them towards a huge target of 196.When Afghanistan came to bat they never look like threatening England and slumped to 26/8 but an entertaining inning by Gulbodin Naib helped them reach 80 runs before they were bowled out.Below is the full scorecard!
