How to embed(add) a Youtube video in blogger

Its well known that if you need to make your blog more attractive you need to add more pictures and videos.When we speak about adding videos there are multiple options you can add it from.Most preferred by all is YouTube.Sometimes i noticed when i tried searching for my video through "search a video on YouTube"  within "insert a video" option on the blog post for some reason it didn't show my video.That is when i thought i will share with you a few ways of sharing your videos through your blog or website through which your readers will be able to play the video through the website/blog itself without needing to go to YouTube.

1. Through the Blog Post directly

• When you click on "Insert a video" option as shown on the screenshot above it will show the following options.

Features of the above options:

1. Upload:
   
   The upload option is quite simple through which you can directly upload a video through blog post itself.
    
2. From YouTube:
   
   When you select the option From YouTube,You can search for the video from YouTube which you need to add.
   
3. My YouTube Videos:
   
   This is one of the most convenient features for bloggers as this allows you to add your videos directly from your YouTube account.
   
4. From Your Phone:
   
   Google Plus application on Smartphones have a feature within it through which the user can turn instant upload on or off.When the instant upload is turned on whenever the user takes a picture or a video it automatically gets uploaded on your Google Plus account as well as shows in this option on the blog.
    
5. From a Webcam:
   
   Through Webcam you can directly record a video and upload it on the blog.
    

In case if you are facing problems with any one of the above options you can directly upload the video on YouTube and get the embed code from YouTube itself and insert it on your blog.
 

Getting the Embed code from YouTube:

• Login to your YouTube account
  
• Upload your video
  
• Go to the video page once the video has been uploaded and below the video there will be an option that says embed click on it.
  
• Once you click on embed as shown in the screen below the window will expand with the embed code.You can choose the width and height based on your blog template and copy the code.

On your blog post on the HTML screen you can input the embed code wherever you would like the video to appear

PS:In case if the width and the height are not showing correctly even after you entering it you can change it manually on the code by changing width= or height= section of the code.
