How to fix you do not have permission to access error

There have been a lot of people who are having problems with sharing folders through the windows 7 and get an error  "You do not have permission to access(folder name) contact your network administrator to request access" as shown in the screenshot below

You do not have permission to access contact network administrator to request access

After a lot of experimenting i found a way of fixing this. Now to fix this all you need to do  is right click on the folder you need to share--->Select Properties--->Select Security tab from the top shown in the screenshot below

Once you select security you will then need to click on edit next to Pemissions(To change permissions click edit)--->Add--->Under the option that says enter the object names to select just type in "everyone" without quotes .You might get access denied errors for a few ignore them and continue.Below is the screenshot for an easier understanding

Note:If this does not work make sure the folder is shared by right clicking on it--->Selecting properties--->selecting share-->advance sharing and making sure there is tick mark next to share this folder.

Please also note by performing the other network anyone within your network will have access to your files you have shared. So please use extreme caution to make sure you do not share anything that you dont want others to see.

Hope this Helps!
