Wonderbook ready to release on ps3 this holiday season

To all the Harry Potter lovers who are sad that there isn't going to be another Harry Potter movie or a book get ready as there is more to come. 

Wonderbook is an upcoming game yet to be released on a PlayStation 3 console.In this game the user holds an object similar to a book and the title displays digital content on the PlayStation 3 screen. The peripheral was confirmed by sony at its press conference during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in 2012.

The best part of the game which Harry Potter fans will love is this is that the game was developed alongside J.K Rowling(The famous harry potter author).The technology of this game involved the camera tracking a marker (which is generally a card with a specific pattern on it) but the Sony team decided to go with the virtual pet idea because it required the tracking of just one, not multiple, markers."According to the London Studios team, turning the augmented reality book concept into a book of spells that would allow players to use the Move controller as a wand was a natural fit that could allow them to develop simple user interface and one-to-one movements".The game is due to release this holiday season.As the picture suggests it also looks like there will be a book of spells ps3 bundle that will be up for grabs.All this makes me wonder is will this help in the future sales of ps3.

Guess it largely depends on how the game does in the market.Considering the amount of fan following there is for harry potter im sure they will be mighty pleased with this announcement.The game is set to release on nov 13th.
