How to autofeed blog posts to social networking sites

Twitter facebook LinkedIn logo

Blogging is a lot of work. Its not always easy to do everything manually. To reduce a bit of stress luckily  there are ways to get a blog post automatically published on Facebook,Twitter and LinkedIn as soon as its published.Depending on which social networking site you would like to publish the posts you would require a userid setup on either one/or all of the following.

  1. Facebook
  2. Twitter
  3. LinkedIn
Once you have created the account on either one or all of the social networking sites shown above you will need to create an account on twitterfeed .

The below screen will appear as soon as you have created an account with Twitterfeed.

Name Feed and add source URL:

  • Feed Name(This can be any name)
  • Blog URL or RSS feed(If you are unsure about your RSS feed address dont worry just enter your full blog/website address)

Advance Settings:

Advanced settings in Twitterfeed

The Advance setting option as shown in the screenshot above has a lot of options you can choose from such as

  • URL shorter service which contains a list of URL shortners through which the link to the actual blog post gets shortened through a URL shortner before it gets published to the social networking sites.
  • Depending on how a post needs to look on the social networking sites(If only a title or description needs to be displayed or both need to be displayed)an option can be chosen.

  • A time frame and number of posts to be displayed can also be chosen from the option below Update Frequency.

This screen basically is just to customize which can be left as default if unsure about an option.

Authorizing applications:

As you can see in the screenshot above you have reached the end of it.All you need to do now is authorize the service which you have applied for to grant access for Twitterfeed to post the blog posts once published.

As you can see Twitterfeed gives a lot of flexibility to hard working bloggers to reduce a bit of stress and concentrate on the quality of the content rather than having to worry about manually posting the link on the social networking sites.
