Sony has confirmed that they are ready to launch the new 250GB PlayStation 3 model on September 25,which will also include Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception for around $270. In addition to this a 500GB version arrival along with Assassin's Creed III in October has also been confirmed.
Sony confirmed at their blog that the new 250GB PS3 will be available for US$269.99 on September 25 in North America or it will be available as part of a limited edition bundle which will include Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception(Game of the Year edition), and will also include voucher for more than US$30 worth of bonus digital content for the title Dust 514.
The 500GB PS3 will be available in North America as a limited edition Assassin's Creed III bundle on October 30. The Price has not been revealed for US and Japan for this model.
The PAL versions of the two new PS3 models will be slightly different: Whereas the 500GB version will be similar, The version that will replace the current 250GB model will come as a 12GB flash memory model. HDD Upgrade would also be possible for those who buy this model, but you will end up loosing 12GB as internal storage when you do. This version of the new PS3 will be available in Europe and Australasia. The 12GB flash memory PS3 model will be released in Australia for AU$300 on September 27 , and in Europe on October 12 for €229.
Sony with their innovations are giving tough fight to the other consoles but at the end of the day this is turning out to be wonderful for the gamerz.Lets wait and see how this develops further!
