The cricket match between New Zealand and Sri Lanka for the icc world twenty20 which has now reached the super eight stage held on 27/09/2012 was superb.Both the teams deserved to win but New Zealand Just could not pull it off.Nichol during New Zealand's batting has proved that mendis is not unplayable.The match got right down the wire and ended in a tie despite total dominance by Sri Lanka thanks to superb bowling by Southee.During the super over Southee conceded 13 runs which new zealand could not quite reach.A fantastic beginning to super 8s.
