Ubisoft has confirmed the release of Assassin's Creed:The Movie as 2013.Ubisoft speaking to Games Industry International confirmed the release date.
From what is known about it being adapted into a movie is that it will star Michael Fassbender who played an important role in the movies Inglourious Basterds, Prometheus, and Shame.
We have seen a lot of movies adapted into games but Assassin's Creed is one of those popular games along with max payne and silent hill that has found its way to the silver screen.
Assassin's Creed III has already released for consoles and has got good reviews.The release of the PC version however was delayed and is expected to finally make its way to the shelves on November 20.
