The PC Version of Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3 for some reason are unavailable on the UK Steam store,as per reports by PCGamesN.
An Ubisoft spokesperson told the site that they have been in discussion with Valve about this but for now the games will continue not to be available on via the UK steam store
No reason was given for this but this is only affecting UK at the moment as the games are available in other regions through steam.
