Windows Live Messenger is coming to an end.Microsoft have confirmed to replace Windows Live Messenger with one of the worlds most loved/video calling application Skype.The application was acquired by Microsoft in May 2011,and includes voice/ video calling since its launch and also has text-based chatting (IM) support which is built in.
The latest version(6) of Skype made way for Windows Live Messenger integration by allowing users to login using their Microsoft credentials, and also included facebook integration.
The Official announcement was made at the Skype blog where the details were revealed.
