Producer Hidetaka Miyazaki has confirmed via the latest issue of the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (through Polygon) that the yet to release Dark Souls II will not have a very different experience compared to the first one.
Director Tomohiro Shibuya had also stated earlier that the game will be more straightforward and accessible. There is no news about the characters or creatures of the game yet.The game is set in a different part of the same planet For example if the first part was in the north pole the second would be in the south pole.
Dark souls II was announced during the 2012 Video Game Awards and is due out for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The release date is not yer confirmed.
