Will India make a dramatic comeback in Twenty20 against England?

Mahendra Singh Dhoni Indian Captain

Indian team's poor performance against England is now a thing of the past. The question now in everyone's mind is can the Indian cricket team lift itself up in the Twenty20 format?Indian team has been known in the past to be a fantastic ODI team considering the massive chases they have easily accomplished but looking at the way they performed in tests against England there are doubts in everyone's mind to know what exactly can we expect from the team in the Twenty20 followed for the ODI against Pakistan in December and then against England in January. To be honest its not very tough for the Indian Cricket team to dominate once again considering the amount of talent they possess and the T20 and ODI style of game should definitely suit their style.

The players who can make a difference:

India:

Virat Kohli:

The reason why Virat is on the top of the list is because in a short time he has accomplished a lot and has become one of the most dependable Indian Cricket players of the year. The best thing that gets our hopes up about Virat are his passion for the game.I remember Kevin Pietersen during a post match presentation during the ICC Twenty20 world cup said that Virat had called him up to ask doubts about how to play against a certain bowler and also Mahela Jayawardene had stated "We need to find a way to get him out"These reasons are more than enough for us to know Virat will be the man for India with the bat this season as well

Yuvraj Singh:

Yuvraj Singh known as one of the cleanest strikers and a sweet timer of the cricket ball is not far behind.defying the odds stacked against him he is one player who has always got up after a fall.Cricketing wise even though he has not made a lot of runs from what i have seen his batting has looked the best as ever and a lot more determined.

Suresh Raina:

Haven't seen much of him recently because he is not a past of the test team. However he along with Yuvi is one of the cleanest strikers of the ball and is a fantastic fielder and a great runner between the wickets.

MS Dhoni:

Many might debate with what i am about to write.Dhoni has been criticized about the different approach he has towards his captaincy. That's one factor that's one factor that keeps the other teams guessing of what to expect next.Along with that one of the most powerful hitters of the cricket ball can torment any attack at any time.

R.Ashwin:

Ravichandran Ashwin has not been in much form lately but is one of the best spinners from India in the T20 format. If he gets going not only will he contain runs he will pick up wickets too.

A.Dhinda:

Ashok Dhinda is one of the most aggressive bowlers i have seen play for India recently. He makes the ball do the talking and is one of the few bowlers who always looks to surprise the batsman with a bouncer.

England:

Joe Root:

Joe root showed some tremendous temperament in the fourth test match against India. He has a lot of experience in the Twenty20 format of the game as well and can bowl some decent off spin too.

Luke Wright:

Luke Wright is one of those batsman who are very tough to stop when they get going.A good hitter of a cricket ball and a steady medium pace bowler can do a lot of things for his captain at any given day.

Eoin Morgan:

This is the first time i am going to see Eoin Morgan captain England in the T20 format of the game.Im not sure what we can expect from him in captaincy but he definitely will add strength to the England Middle order.

Tim Bresnan:

A steady Medium fast bowler who gives very little away and is a handy lower order batsman. Many say he has lost his pace compared to when he started but he can prove lethal at any given time as he hits the deck hard while bowling.

Samit Patel:

Samit Patel was a steady off spinner but slowly he is turning to be as one of the most elegant England batsman and is tough to bowl to on his day.

Jade Dernbach:

Jade Dernbach is a steady Medium pace bowler with great variations. His slower balls have bedazzled many batsman and the Indian pitchesmight just suit his style of bowling.

The Probables for the Twenty20 are:

India: (likely) 1 Gautam Gambhir, 2 Ajinkya Rahane, 3 Virat Kohli, 4 Rohit Sharma, 5 Yuvraj Singh, 6 Suresh Raina, 7 MS Dhoni (capt), 8 R Ashwin, 9 Piyush Chawla, 10 Ashok Dinda, 11 Parwinder Awana

England (likely) 1 Alex Hales, 2 Michael Lumb/Joe Root, 3 Luke Wright, 4 Eoin Morgan, 5 Jos Buttler, 6 Jonny Bairstow (wk), 7 Samit Patel, 8 Tim Bresnan, 9 James Tredwell, 10 Jade Dernbach, 11 Stuart Meaker
