One of the most addictive Social networking website "Twitter" is enabling a feature for all its users to download the full history of their tweets.This should serve as a reminder to people who tweet that all the information they put on the site gets stored on a server.Facebook also has an option to download the entire archive by going into the account settings.Even though the twitter users will be able to find their old tweets or history through their profile it is quite a tedious and a lengthy process to go through the entire history online.
Twitter has also confirmed that after a record number of requests the users will now receive an email on how to download their personal archive.
I think the reason why this will take several months before its ready for download is because of the number of users on Twitter and the amount of data that is involved.
