One of the best open world games i have played recently "Sleeping Dogs" might have a sequel released in the near future.Video games Blogger reports that the game was originally in development as the third installment of the true crime series before it was cancelled and the rights were purchased by Square Enix under a new name.
Square Enix clearly believe in the title and have also shown faith in the title becoming a franchise in the near future.The uniqueness of the game compared to the other open world games out there wont do much harm to its reputation.
They have also purchased elements to try and ensure that they can make a comeback with a sequel to continue the story from where they left off.
Square Enix further in their statement said they are excited about the title and are looking out for feedback's from the gamers as to what they would like to see in Sleeping Dogs 2.Even though the sequel is just in the talks and nothing very major has transpired yet there are bright chances there will be a sequel in the near future. There is no release date or any other information available at the moment.
