HTML5 is now a thing of the past as the new app released by Facebook for Android version 2.0 has been built from the beginning leveraging the native Android controls.
This has shown significant improvements on the Facebook application running on Android however most of the Sony Xperia owners have reported a problem with the timescape not updating the Facebook feeds after the update.
There are various theories behind this not updating on Xperia phones which include the update of the android operating system to ice cream sandwich.However on the official sony forum a staff member has said this might be a problem with the Facebook application itself and not with the handset.They will post an update on the forum once they have one.Hopefully this will be resolved soon as the problem has now been persisting for over a week.
