Lady Gaga lost 156 Million views during a recent YouTube audit

Lady Gaga has lost 156 million views from her official YouTube Channel during the recent cleanup by YouTube.Her official Vevo channel seemed to have the views removed while the pioneer video sharing site conducted an audit to clear old videos, reports Billboard.

YouTube Spokesperson confirmed that this was not a bug or a security breach but an enforcement of their viewcount policy.
 
The Audit was conducted by YouTube after there were a few speculations that hackers were boosting the views of certain artists through count-building techniques.

Artists such as Beyoncé, Michael Jackson and Chris Brown also lost substantial views during the audit

A large amount of  dead videos of clips not being viewed or used by artists were also removed as a part of the audit.
