PlayStation 4 news continue to arise with the latest from Kotaku claiming new information in regards to the PlayStation 4 devkit also known as DVKT-KS000K.The claim adds on further details to the last weeks news regarding the touchscreen controller which will be included in the Sony PlayStation 4 console.
The latest news claims that the touchscreen controller news last week was actually about Sony recreating the PS Vita's rear touch pad on the rear end of the PlayStation 4 controller as opposed to its front touchscreen.
Nothing regarding the biometric sensors in the controller has been confirmed yet,the rear touchpad however will have a clickable button which will take the role of an additional button.
Other technical specifications confirmed within the PS4 are:
- A new "Share" button for social network integration
- Improved version of Sixaxis-style motion control.
- A concept "multi-user simultaneous logins which can be done by linking controllers with local user accounts stored on the console.
- 8GB of system memory
- 2.2GB of video memory
- AMD Bulldozer eight core processor
- AMD R10XX GPU.
- Blu-Ray drive
- Four USB 3.0 ports
- Two Ethernet ports
- 160GB hard drive.
This is however not an official statement by Sony yet.The official statement would be made by Sony in the near future.So,What would you like to see in the Next gen consoles ?
