Razer edge gaming tablet announced at CES 2013

 

During the consumer electronics show 2013 the peripheral maker Razer has announced the launch of their gaming tablet named  "Edge." which has been renamed from from "Project Fiona"In addition to giving the device a new name, Razer revealed specifications, pricing, and timing information for a base model and a Pro version. 

Specifications & Features of Razer Edge: 

Base Version:

• Windows 8 operating system
• 10.1 inch touchscreen
• Intel Core i5 chip
• NVIDIA GT 640M GPU
• 4GB of RAM
• 64GB solid state drive. 

The base version will be priced at 1000$

 Pro Version:

• Faster Core i7 chip
• 8GB of RAM
• 128GB or 256GB SSD.
• Front-facing 2MP high-definition camera

The Pro version will be priced at 1300$ and  available during Q1 (January-March 2013).

Other Peripherals anounced by Razer Edge:

• Gamepad controller(optional feature for the device) priced at $250
• Keyboard dock  priced at $200
• Docking station priced at $10
• Extended Battery pack priced at $50
• 65 Watt power adapter priced at $50
